A wonderful elixir that mixes with the scent of brimstone and hellfire and a sinner’s skin
Camouflage for a wolf in wolves clothing. This is not to make you smell like the devil but to make a Devil smell like a Lady or Gentleman depending of whose skin you’re wearing at the time.
Harlots and Thieves, Rogues and Highway Women, Ne’er-do-wells and Black Widows,
A bright clean scent with a touch of hard candy citrus pettigrain, an old fashioned apothecary, a tonic of tricks, and a fresh electric peppermint top note that brightens the decadence you dwell in.
Notes: Pale Blue Violets and Red Raspberry lounge together in a Victorian drawing room, Earthly Vetiver and Warm Vanilla join them!
Blue Violet
Sweet, Seductive, Innocent and Dangerous were just the easiest ways to describe Blue Violet. Some said she was blue because she never could find a man to truly love her the way she loved them. She loved completely but not exclusively and it drove the men crazy and it broke her heart. Some proper folk called her “Blue” because of the way she showed her love. The daughter of a long gone mother who came not from the small southern town she ended up in, a woman who learned early on that she would never have a home or a husband for long. She came to this town a war bride to a much older man and bore him a daughter as wild and free as summer but without the sense of experience to make it in this small close minded place. Blue Violet was her name and she answered to it when the men called, she knew it was all she had and all that she could give away. A name…….. She shamed the men who lusted after her for they knew it was scandalous and everyone knew how wrong it was. She carried herself with the grace of a woman but kept the demeanor on a child, a teasing teenager on the verge of adulthood…. She perfumed herself with the exquisite perfumes left as the soul reminder of her run away mother and these mixed with the sweet summer air and the spring time fields of violet that reflected in her eyes the same pale color. And like a wild child free in summer fields she drank up the very essence of the rapacious flora about her as it mingled with the sweet sticky sweat that sultry summer nights brought to her heaving bosom. She stole away from her father and the juvenile trappings of a bedroom more suited to a toddler than a girl on the edge of 17, the same age her mother found herself on distant shores with a sour old man a million miles away from swarthy fleshed men of lust and earth. Blue Violet would do whatever she could to get away from this self-imposed exile and take with her whatever man that would run with her, who would glory in her beautiful mix of innocence and knowledge of flesh and who would take her on a summer night just as spring gave sway to the earliest of days of heat and heartache as flowers bloom in profusion and languidly wilt as the heat of the day lingers on and only to be refreshed as night falls and the clinging dew pearls up on waiting flesh and gathers and flows in trickling rivulets born of passion and exquisite exertion
